像受天然災害的民眾，一般還是有機會找到王國的其它管道來申請一些救難金、臨時避難住所、救災隊等等。但從文章所述，士兵只是單單執行守衛職責，而要塞那邊、比賽場地那邊都沒任何消息是關於急難救助的嗎？我記得這世界也有記者的。
巴薩諾村因為衛兵被要塞召回（除了準備大賽外，後面會提到其他原因），可以說是跟領主（要塞將軍）or政府機關斷了聯繫，所以在消息延誤、人手不足的情況下，村子又很不幸地遇上了防護網故障、天災、盜匪的連環災難，才變成希洛他們看到的慘狀。
