I hate the lies I tell every day.

I hate the simple lies I tell every day.

I hate the I’m okay’s.

I hate the I’m fine’s.

I hate the I’m good’s.

I hate them because no matter how much I say them,

They’re never true.

I hate that I’m quiet.

I hate it because it keeps people from knowing me,

But at the same time I love that no one knows me.

I hate the simple lies that I can never stop telling.

the I’m fine’s,

the I’m good’s,

the I’m okay’s.

I hate when people ask if I’m okay,

because it always leads to a lie.

”I’m just tired.”

”I’m just zoning.”

These are the lies I tell every day.

Why can’t I ever say the truth?

Why can’t I ever say “No, I’m not okay.”?
