A/n: Alright everyone because of a suggestion of a fellow writer I'm doing something new. I will be posting the bio, info, harem list (if any), any other bits of information and the first chapter of various stories I'm working on. I have no schedule, so until I do, updates will be sporadic. For some it could be a week, for others a couple of weeks, but also sometimes a few a week. I would also like to add some stories might receive more updates than others, depending on my mood, if I'm getting into it, or ideas for that series. So these first few bits of information and chapters are to give you a taste of what's to come. This message will be only on the first chapter of each new story. Hope you enjoy this testing phase I'm doing and the stories I write. Don't worry, no story will be abandoned, regardless of how many I make. If anything, maybe temporary hiatus.

The Voice in the Void
"Legends are merely stories...... told by the victors."
Within the pure void of nothingness, a voice begins to speak. Their voice was soft, feminine but laced with malice and anger.
"They would twist the truth to fit their own whims and desires. Tales of great and mighty warriors slaying the dreadful and evil Dravyn.... yet these so called 'monsters' were the victims all along".
As their voice echoed, the void began to slowly transform. A beautiful and lush, greenery bloomed forth, underneath an unseen but bright sun. This turns the endless white void into one of a serene meadow of vivid emerald.
"These lies infest our history books like a ruthless plague, shaping humanity's view of right and wrong." the voice hissed, its tone dripping with disdain.
Suddenly this beautiful meadow began to decay and rot away. The once emerald grass withered into ash, the bright flowers crumbled into dust and the water turned red. Then shadows slithered forth like vipers attacking their prey, devouring all the remaining light.
"Eienkyo.... a world filled with these rewritten truths. History, erased, and rewritten over and over again. But-" the voice then gave off a low but seductive chuckle that echoed through the darkness
"You're not ready for that....... my dears."
The shadows that once covered the field now bursts into the sky, twisting into a mass of seething black. Within the pillar of darkness, filled with evil and malice, 2 glowing eyes ignited—piercing, bright and ancient. These eyes were so bright, so imposing, that they appear to be staring into the soul of their next victim.
"The Kyōshin, creatures born of pure darkness. They exist for only 1 purpose—extinction of all things. No one truly knowns where it is they come from. But 1 thing is certain...."
"They are not of this world."
Then a bright, blinding light tore through the darkness—pure, radiant and powerful.
"In the beginning, magic flowed freely through all living beings. Even the humans possessed it."
"But...." The darkness began to surge, clawing back the light. Slowly snuffing it out, "humanity lost it all. Now only the Elvarin and the Dravyn are capable of wielding magic, but even they have forgotten its true power."
Just as the darkness begins to consume everything, a new light erupted from within the shadows. It was golden, noble and unyielding.
"However, it wasn't all lost for humanity."
"From the loss of magic...... came Kiryoku. The power of ones' soul, the force of their will."
This golden light shined brightly, defiantly, even as the shadows coiled hungrily around with it
"Thanks to Kiryoku, humanity was able to stand tall once more. But, no matter how brightly the light may shine...."
The voice now faded into a soft whisper as the darkness slowly consumes the light.
"Darkness will always be waiting."

Encounter at the Shop
[Akishino City]
[Time: Night]
Welcome to Akishino City, a small city that rests just east of the bustling town of the Grand Bazaar of the Solheim continent. The city is known for being a hub of education, politics and innovation. This charming little city is also known for its seasonal festivals and state of the art tech shops. Among many of these shops, stood a particular cozy little store known as 'Grand De Shards', famous for its family friendly and welcoming atmosphere as well as for its signature product, 'Shards'. leyline or faultline energies in crystallized form that forms naturally throughout the world.
In this world, Shards power everything. From homes and vehicles to weapons and medical equipment to even every day devices like Prismcell. They are necessary for every piece of technology.
The store is abuzz with life. Customers are browsing the many displays while the shelves glittered with softly glowing gems. In a cozy little corner of the store, 2 girls were hunched over a comic book.
One had long, wavy silver hair with streaks of blue, and bright green eyes that shimmered like gemstones. She wore a lime-green hoodie that had patterns of tiny stars all over it, light denim shorts, and white sneakers with green soles. On her back were 2 sleek, mid-length poles painted silver, sky-blue and lime-green.

Beside her stood a girl with short, wild looking red hair accented with golden highlights. Her eyes were mismatched, with her left radiant yellow while her right was a burning orange color. She wore a black, flame-patterned tank top, ripped blue jeans and dark green combat boots. On her hips were strange looking mechanical-looking discs that were colored in red, orange, black and gold. It was clear this girl was taller than the girl with silver hair, despite being hunched over.

The silver-haired girl cheerfully hummed, clearly invested in the comic and enjoying every moment of it. The red-haired girl leaned over her shoulder, with her hands on her knees, and pokes the girl's cheek in a playful manner. This causes the silver-haired girl to pout in a cute manner before the pair would chuckle at each other, before returning to the book.
Across the room, slouched in a chair with a comic book draped over his face, a boy was fast asleep. He had shaggy black hair that had 2 thick silver strands of his opposing bangs that shimmered faintly with purple hue. He wore a black, lightning-theme hoodie, worn down gray jeans and dark gray combat boots.
Behind the counter stood a round, jolly old man with a long, fluffy silver colored beard and long braided hair. His red shirt snug tightly against his rounded belly, sleeves were rolled up as he polished a gemstone. Over his shirt was a darkened green apron. His light blue jeans were surprisingly stylish. In one universe, he would be mistaken for one Saint Nick, aka Santa Claus.
He smiled warmly as he watched his patrons go about their day.
However, that peace was soon shattered.
The doors were then kicked open as men dressed in pristine white suits stormed inside. Each wore blue-tinted sunglasses, a black tie, and held a strange metallic handle in their dominate hands. With a flick of their thumb, some even slashing the air, a red energy blade ignites from the hilt with a low hum.
They then parted like waves as a man walk between them.
This man was tall, fit and commanding, he walked with swagger. His jet-black hair shimmered with hints of a blue hue, neatly styled except for a single small cowlick on the top of his head. His skin had a warm tan tone to it, with a small faint scar that traced his left cheek. His azure eyes scanned the room like a predator looking for prey.
He wore a high collared, dark blue military style uniform with silver accents, and a flowing black cape that adored a strange looking insignia. It took the shape of 5 interlocking rings, at its center was a shattered crown with a spiraling eye, and the entire symbol was encased in a serpentine ouroboros that's biting its own tail. At his side was a sleek looking scabbard that was black and dark purple in color, and a sapphire gem embedded into the hilt. Under his arm, he carried a silver top hat with a dark blue trim and sapphire buckle.

"Alright everyone." he said in a smooth and cheerful tone with a disarming smile, "let's all stay calm, yeah? No need for any drama. So just stay put, and we all get to go home safely".
He then threw a cheeky smile and wink towards a group of startled adult women. Their cheeks went flush, despite their fear.
With elegance of a gentleman, the intruder bowed deeply.
"I do apologize, good sir. This is a fine establishment you got here." he then straightens up his back, "one where families can feel at ease. Rest assured, the Reigetsu Kingdom will compensate you for any damages that you suffer here today." he then lets out a warm smile, "that's why i chose this place."
He then turned to look at his men.
"Gentlemen, you know the drill. Retrieve what we came here for, but do be careful not to injure anyone. We dont need any unnecessary attention."
"Yes, sir!" all his men responded in perfect unison.
One by one, the soldiers began to strip down the store shelves like seasoned pros. They took everything, from small microchip sized Shards to large Energy Cores. All the while making sure not a single civilian was harmed.
But then, 2 of the soldiers approached the comic book reading girls.
"Hey, you two! Hands where i can see 'em! Get up against the wall!" the man barked as he walked closer towards the girls in the aisle.
The 2 girls didn't seem to even flinch, as if they didn't hear him.
"Hey! im talking to you!" he shouted again, this time getting real close.
"Hmm?" the pair finally turned in unison, blinking innocently.
"Are you..... talking to us?" the silver-haired girl asked while titling her head slightly.
"Duh, there's no one else here." the man snapped.
"Well, there are other people standing over there." he pointed over at the next aisle.
"Shut it!" his quickly snapped his head at his partner.
The red-haired girl then looked around while raising an eyebrow as she noticed the other robbers grabbing items off the shelves.
"Wait, you're robbing the store?" the red-head asked.
"Uh-yeah! That's why is called a robbery! Keep up, lady!"
"Really now?" the red-haired girl then smirked, "well.... i do like bolds guys who can take charge".
With a sultry grin, she closed the distance and begins to tap her finger on the man's chest while slowly dragging it upward. Letting her other fingers follow like playful little feet, until finally reaching his chin. The man became visibly stiffened, words dying in his throat. This is, until her eyes began to glow a dangerous electric blue color.
"Oh, shit. She's a-!"

Fight to Defend Grand De Shards Begins
From the outside, bystanders could only gape as a body exploded through the large storefront window, sailing a crossed the street before finally slamming into a wall with a thunderous impact that left behind a large crater. His body folded in onto itself like a ragdoll before sliding down to the ground, clearly unconscious.
With a flat and unimpressed expression, the silver-haired girl glanced toward her companion, "are we really doing this?"
The red-haired girl then cracked her knuckles with a devilish smile, "oh, we're doing this."
"You know, we're supposed to lay low until we get to Hakugetsu Academy." the silver-haired girl reminded her companion.
"Yeah, well.... it's their fault and last i checked, i was the responsible one." the red-haired girl shot back, "besides, this'll be fun!"
With that being side, the redhead dashes out from the store window. The silver-haired girl sighed while rubbing her temple.

And with that, she jumped out of the window as well.
Inside the store, their leader just sighs deeply. Pinching the bridge of his nose. "Go help them," he ordered some of his men, "the rest of you finish clearing the store."
As his men ran ahead, the leader just shook his head in annoyance, "why dont they ever listen.....?"
Outside the store, the 2 girls now stand surrounded by many armed men. Tension filled the air, but the pair exchanged confident grins at each other.
The red-haired girl then moves her hand close to her waist and flicks her wrists. Just then twin metal discs rotated outwards. She then forces her arms through the disks, causing them to unfold into full gauntlets, revealing that they had fire motifs on them.
Meanwhile, the silver-haired girl grabs the 2 short rods from her back with only her right hand. With a fluid twist the rods actually unfolded into a single full length spear with double bladed edges.
The pair then looked at each other once more and nod.
Then they charged at their foes showing no fear.
The red-haired girl dashed forwards while coking her arm back.
"Let me show you what my Homura can do," she said with a smug grin on her face.
Right as she got mere inches away from the man, her arm fully cocked back. The back of her gauntlet flared with vibrant blue energy.
"Boost!" she lets out a mighty roar.

Boost
The ability of the Shinketsu, Homura. It allows the user to focus their Kiryoku energy into their gauntlets to unleash an explosive force from either the elbows or wrists, dramatically amplifying the power of their punches.

Right as her fist collided with the man's gut, a powerful explosive force was unleashed.
A shockwave bursts out from the man's back like a blast from a cannon that shattered the windows of nearby buildings. In an almost delayed effect, the man was hurled across the plaza, crashing through 3, no 4 buildings. Each time the man would break through each building's walls, it would cause the redhead to wince slightly before turning around while scratching her cheek.
"Ehehehe..... oops. My bad." she said with an innocent grin on her face before playfully sticking out her tongue.
Back with the silver-haired girl, 3 men rushed towards her at once. She would effortlessly dodge each sing, her movements were as fluid as a seasoned dancer. Her spear aided her movements, allowing her to twist, flip and vault around them with an almost unnatural grace and flexibility.
"Goddammit, stand still!" one of the men would shout.
"Blehh! Gotta catch me first! Hehehehe." sticking out her tongue in a playful manner.
"She's playing with us!" the man shouted in disbelief.
In perfect sync, all 3 men would lunge at her. She leapt up, using her spear like a pole, flipping into the air and when the trio would look up, they saw as she was standing on the tip of her spear's blade. Balancing like a circus acrobat.
She would then place her hand over her eyes, "ohhh, this is pretty high."
"She's...... sightseeing?!" one of the men said in disbelief.
"Alright, that's it! I've had enough of this brat!" the 3rd of the men roared before kicking her spear.
"Oops!" she chirped as the weapons begins to tilt.
She would then launch off it effortlessly, bouncing off of each of the men's heads like stepping stones before landing on the sidewalk with grace.
"Alright, your dead meat brat!" the man would roar before charging at her, but she would vault over him.
When he turned, he saw she was right in his face smiling, but something wasn't right. She was....... sideways?
When he got a better look, she managed to embed the spear into the concrete. She was leaning against it in a sideways angle. She had kept herself in the air by having her arms crossed behind her back and wrapping her elbows against the spear. She had her hands in her pockets like this was a casual thing for her.
"The fuck!?" one of the man said, flabbergasted.
"How is she doing that?" one of the 3 would ask.
"The heck if i know!" the 3rd of the 3 would yell.
The girl would then dismount her spear casually and twirled her spear with a smile on her face.
"Come on guys! This is fun! Let's continue!" she cheered with sparkless in her eyes.
"Fun? FUN?! This isn't a damn game brat!" the man screamed at his opponent.
"It is!" she said full of energy, "come on, let's continue!"
"What's wrong with this girl...?" one of them asked practically sweating.
"Yeah-" the redhead said as she rejoined her companion, patting the silver-haired girl's head, "that's just how my sister is. she has a hard time taking fights seriously." she then pets her sisters head, causing her to giggle, "I'm working on it."
She then stops petting her and looks down at her sister, "now come on, Ayame. Finish them off already."
"Aye aye, big sis!" Ayame beamed while raising her hand into the air.
Without warning, she suddenly began to spin her spear before pointing it at her opponent.
"Alright, Zephyra, let's do this!" the edge of her spears blade began to glow.
"Javelin!!"

Javelin
The ability of Ayames Shinketsu named Zephyra. It's an ability that allows the user to focus and condense their Kiryoku energy into the edge of the blade at either end of the spear. It then fires the energy into a razor-sharp spearhead-shaped projectile at high speeds. This could be a deadly weapon in the heads of a skilled sniper do to how far the projectiles can travel, and the precision needed to use it. Do to just how condensed it is, these projectiles can bypass most defenses, making it incredibly difficult to block.

With another thrust of her arm, causes a blue arrowhead shaped projectile to shoot out from the blade that rushed towards her opponent at extreme speeds.
The man tried his best to block with his own energy sword, but the projectile sliced right through it like wet paper and with no time to dodge, the projectile hit him dead center of his chest. This sent his hurling towards the wall behind him with a massive crash.
"That's going too far!!" one of the men yelled, watching as his ally slumps down.
"Oh calm down. He's fine....... ish." the redhead shrugged, "she's good at keep them non-lethal."
"That's what you call non-lethal?!" he yells as he points at the downed man, clearly not getting up anytime soon.
Ayame then leaned on her spear, casually. "What? He's still breathing, so he's fine."
She then glances up and her sister and points, "he is still breathing right?"
".... probably." the redhead said before squinting her eyes at the motionless body, "i think i saw his chest move."
The remaining 2 men just stood there in stunned silence.
"How can they be so...... dismissive." the 2nd one said in disbelief.
On the inside of the shop, the rest of the white-suited men were finishing up their task when one of them noticed the boy from earlier still fast asleep, with a comic book still over his face.
"Do you think..... we should wake him?" the first of the 5 asked.
"Well, we are robbing the place, buuuuuut.... it's not like he's in our way or anything." the 3rd replied back while scratching his head.
"Fuck it." the 5th of the 5 said before walking towards the boy.
"This won't end well. Will it?" the forth muttered while rolling his eyes, which are barely visible from his glasses.
"Probably not" the 2nd of the 5 said, causing the others to nod in agreement.
The 5th member then walked up to the sleeping boy and taps his foot with his own.
"Oi, kid. Wake up."
"Hmm?" the boy then slid the comic book down from his face to reveal his yellow-amber eyes and small scar on his cheek. He then lazily glances over the 5 men and eyes their outfits.

"What are you guys supposed to be? The off-brand Burst Rangers?"
The men then looked at each other and notices their different colored ties.
"Huh.... i guess we do look like them." he left out a small chuckle as he talked.
"Without the skin-tight suits that is." the fourth of them said while looking at his dad bod.
"Hey, i dont know about you guys but i definitely have the butt for it." the 2nd said with pride.
The others then leaned back slightly to examine him.
"Huh, i guess you do." the 3rd admitted with slight amazement.
"True, those suits would definitely highlight that." the 4th of them said with a chuckle.
The mysterious boy then sat up a bit. "welp, that turned weird fast. So... what do you guys want anyways? im trying to rest here." he asked while letting out a soft yawn.
"Huh? Oh, we're robbing the place. So we need you to just.... get in that corner. If you dont mind."
the boy then leaned forward as he let out a small smile. "That so?"
"Yes," the first of the group said. "We dont want to hurt you kid. It's not worth it. So dont make this harder than it has to be."
The boy then lowered his head, "You..... hurt me?" the boy said in amusement. As he reached for the hilt of his sword, his smile grew.
"Funny."
In one swift motion, he stood up and drew his blade. A small gust of wind flared outwards. Then his eyes began to momentarily glow blue.
The sword appeared to be a fusion of a broadsword and a claymore sword—sleek and powerful. A glowing purple crystal sat at the rain-guard. The blade itself was a dark black hue with red edges.
The five men took a step back and summoned their energy blades, but it was clear, they were scared of the boy.
"Sh-shit. He's a Sentarii"
"Didn't expect to run into one of them here of all places."
"Come on, guys, there's 5 of us and only one of him. Sentarii or not, there's no way he can take us all on."
"hmhmhmmm..... we'll see about that." the boys grinned grew bigger as he pointed his blade at them.
"Hydra."
Suddenly, down the length of the blade, the sword would segment into 6 smaller blades. Then each segment would segment into even smaller pieces but this time horizontally. Then between each of the blades segments, was Kiryoku energy to connect them, forming 6 blade whips. Each began to move as if they were tails of an animal.

Hydra
Hydra is the ability of the boys unnamed Shinketsu. The sword segments into 6 smaller blades, which is then further divided into smaller segments, crossing horizontally along each mini blade. These are then connected by threads of Kiryoku energy, forming 6 whip-like blades. Each one can be manipulated freely, like an extension of the users own limbs. Because the threads are powered by the users own energy, they can reinforce there durability and range, but will weaken when low on energy.

The boy then pointed the hilt towards the men as his smirk grows.
Each of the segments would then lunge forward.
The men did their best to defend themselves against the boys attack. His movements were calm, smooth, and fluid—controlling Hydra like he was dancing with 6 swords at once. None of the 5 men could get close to him.
But they were forgetting something, something important.
There were six blade whips...
And only 5 of them.
The 6th whip snaked around them and headed straight for the 3rd man but just before it could make contact, the energy threat holding that blades segments together suddenly vanished, as if cut clean by something.
Everyone looked to the side to see someone standing beside the men.
Standing between the defeated whip and the 3rd man, was the neatly dressed man from before. The leader of the group, with his black and purple sword drawn.
"And that's enough of that." he said calmly but in a charming way.
"Commander!" the group exclaimed.
The boy just stood there, narrowing his eyes. "What did he just do?" he thought to himself before looking at the defeated blade whip, "That's strange... i know i poured enough Kiryoku into the threads to make them nearly uncuttable. So how did he cut them?"
The commander then straightened up before smiling gently at the boy.
"You seem like a reasonable, albeit crazy, young man." he said calmly, "Surely this little store isn't worth all this fuss. The kingdom will compensate them thanks to their contracts. So there's no need for us to fight at all."
He then sheathes his sword before extending his hand.
"Now come on. We'll be out of your hair shortly. There's no need for any violence today."
The boy then lowered his sword slightly. "Heh, maybe." but then his eyes began to glow again, "but...." he then raised his head as his grin returned, "your strong...... and that's reason enough!"
On the outside of the building, Ayame and her yet to be named older sister stood amid the wreckage of their fight. Nether had any scratches on them, not even dirt marks. Nor do they seem to be out of breath.
The street? Well, that's another story.
The white-suited men were scattered everywhere—knocked through windows, embedded into the walls, and even one guy was stuck halfway into the pavement like a broken action figure. His legs just resting there limp.
"Think we went a little overboard?" the redhead asked with her arms crossed.
Ayame then placed her finger on her cheek. "Mmmmmmm..... maybe? But they're alive. So everything is fine!" she said in a cute, cheerful way. "A little concussion never killed anyone!"
A sweat dropped formed on her head as she looks at her sister, "we really need to work on that, little sis."
This causes her little sister to look up at her in a 'what you mean?' kind of way.
Suddenly. Several more men were thrown out of the already broken shop from window, but then a man stepped out calmly through the front door, completely unbothered by what just happened.
"Honestly, there's no need for all this." the man muttered to himself.
"Wait... he's.....?" Ayame blinked.
"He must be the boss." The redhead replied as her eyes began to glow blue.
The man then looked at the 2 and let out a charming smile. "Well hello there. i see you 2 lovely ladies did a number on my men."
"Huuuuh, are we sure he's the bad guy?" Ayame said with a tilt of her head.
The redhead raised her eyebrow, "I think so....... maybe."
"Just because im what some would call the 'bad guy' doesn't mean i cant have class or manners in fact." the man replied with a wink before elegantly bowing at them. One hand was on his chest while the other was extended.
"Kaelen Veyntis is the name. Thievery and freedom is my game."
He then stood upright with his usual charming smile, "a pleasure to meet you both."
"This guy is giving me mixed signals here." the redhead muttered to herself.
Ayame then waves her hand in the air in an exited way, "oh, oh! Since we're introducing ourselves!" she would point at herself, "my name is Ayame Hoshizora and this is my big sister, Kagari Hoshizora. Nice to meet you mister!"
"No, No, the pleasure is all mine." Kaelen said with a warm smile.
"Ayame!" Kagari yelled at her sister.
"Whaaaaat? Mom always said it was proper manners! He introduced himself first! So its only right we do the same. It's rude not to!"
"Still! You can't just give your name away to the bad guys!"
"Ohhhh, you're right. i forgot." Ayame bonked her own head in a cute manner while stocking out her tongue.
She would turn to look at Kaelen with her hand on the side of her mouth, "Pretend i didn't say anything mister!"
Kaelen chuckled softly at her innocence.
Kagari lets out a sigh while putting her fingers on her forehead. "What am I gonna do with you.....?"
Ayame cutely puffs up her cheeks, "what's that supposed to mean?!"

Suddenly, another one of the white-suited grunts gets hurled through the broken window of the store. The left over glass shards danced in the air as the sound drew everyone's attention. Kaelen lets out a long and tired sigh while shaking his head, while the pair of girls just watch on.
Perched on the edge of the broken window was the same black-haired boy from earlier. One foot was planted firmly on the windowsill, his left hand rested on his hip while the right elbow leaned against his raised knee, forming a cocky silhouette against the light behind him.
"And where do you think your going mister slick." he said with a cocky smirk on his face. "We haven't had nearly enough fun yet."
Kaelen just calmly shook his head, "i said i won't fight you. There's no point in any of this violence."
"'There's no point in any of this violence,' huh?" the boy scoffed before widening his smile. "hehe.... wanting to fight is reason.....ENOUGH!!"
In a flash, the boy lunged forward, with his blade raised high. Kaelen doesn't even flinch as the boy gets closer and closer, his blade still sheathed in its scabbard.

The moment the boys sword sliced downwards, Kaelen shifted his foot lightly and sidestepped. Causing the boys strike to miss entirely.
"Unrefined...." Kaelen thought to himself. "He's clearly talented and skilled with his abilities, but his swordplay is reckless and sluggish. Its amateur at best."
The boy snarled before leaping into the air for another downwards slash attack but Kaelen would simply smile. With a flick of his wrist, he pressed down on the rim of his hat and slowly slashed downwards at a left angle. It was almost lazy, like he was tracing a line in the air.

Right as the boy swung his arm downwards, the angle of his sword swing suddenly changed to a left angle. Almost as if he hit an invisible slope, causing it to veer off to the side. When he landed, his eyes widen in disbelief.
"What the hell?" the boy said in shock, "i know i was aiming right at him."
The boy tried again but this time much faster. However, like before, Kaelen slid his sheathed blade upwards in a strange arc. As the boy swung, his sword once again was diverted, gliding upwards into the air as if he had hit a wall.
"Tch! Enough of this joke—HYDRA!!!"
His weapon would explode into six whip-like blades that would launch towards Kaelen with deadly precision.
Kaelen's response? A simple smile.
He would point his still sheathed sword to his side and began moving it with deliberate and angular motions—left, diagonal, up, across, and back to center—drawing a strange shape in the air without a care.
Just before the whips could reach the man, suddenly the all veered off in different direction. Striking the air or ground. It was as if they hit some kind of wall or barrier.
"Wha-?!"
The boy quickly retracted the blades, reforming it back into its blade form.
"Mind if i cut in?!" Ayame's voice rang out from up above.
As she would slowly descend, she would quickly spin her spear before pointing it at her enemy.
"Javelin!!"
She then launched a powerful energy projectile towards Kaelen.
Kaelen would look up with some intrigue. This time, he would trace the air like he was drawing a square.
The projectile soared through the air, but before it hit him. The projectile just suddenly vanished. Not crash. Not explode. Just...... gone.
"Awwwww." Ayame would land with a pout, "why did it disappear?"
"Let me give it a try, little sis!" Kagari would grin before cocking her fists back, "time i show you something new! Boost: Air Cannon!"
With each punch she would throw, shockwaves would ring out like cannons being fired. Condensed air bullets would be sent flying towards Kaelen.

Boost: Air Cannon
A technique derived from the Boost ability. The user uses the normal Boost ability to quickly launch their fist forward. Then using the reverse Boost, that resides in the wrists, to just as quickly launch their fists backwards. This shoots out condensed air like high-pressure projectiles. This gives them mid-range combat capabilities.

Kaelen just calmly watches as the air bullets heads towards him. He then draws multiple lines in the air with gracefully flicks of his sheathed sword. Right as the air bullets reach him, they are sliced clean in 2 before dispersing harmlessly.
"He....he can cut air?!" Kagari gasped.
"Whoa! That's so cool!" Ayame says in excitement as her eyes sparkle, "Do more!"
"Ayame!!" Kagari snapped at her sister, causing her to let out a little yelp, "Not now." she then looks at Kaelen.
"This is bad." Kagari thinks to herself, "how do we hit someone who can deflect everything?"
Kaelen then slid his sheathed sword back onto his hip with a soft click before clapping his hands together with a soft smile.
"Truly impressive, each of you show great talent and potential. So as a reward, I will reveal the nature of my Tenryoku"
He then glances around and looks at their faces, waiting for him to continue with curiosity.
"Tell me," he begins to speak, "do any of you know what the Lattice Field is?"
He notices how each one looks at him with confusion written all over their faces. Ayame and Kagari looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders.
"The what now?" Kagari asked in confusion.
Kaelen lets out a sigh while shaking his head. "Honestly, what are schools teaching kids these days?"
He then clears his throat. "The lattice field is a 3D spatial grid. You can think of it as a checkerboard spread across all of space. Each corner is a point in space, or what's known as nodes. These nodes are what makes up a lattice. When I form a lattice, i have total control within that space. I can freely manipulate force, kinetic energy, space and energy at will. I can even reshape matter as if it was clay, simply by moving the nodes around. That is my Tenryoku, Latrix. It allows me to create these fields at will."
He then gestures smoothly towards the still unnamed boy.
"When you tried to strike me earlier. I simply created a lattice and bent space in a diagonal line. Your blade then followed that line."
He then turned to look at Ayame. "And your energy projectiles, Javelin i think you called it. i simply formed a square lattice that nullified all energy within it."
Then he looked at Kagari. "And your air attacks? i simply made 2 squares into an arrow shape and when your blades hit it. It made it look like it was split in 2, but it was simply displaced."
All 3 then looked at him in disbelief.
"That.... is....... so....... COO-"
"BROKEN!!" Kagari yelled, interrupting her sister. "You're telling me you can bend space at will?!"
Kaelen chuckled before raising his hands. "To be fair. i cant use it on organic matter. Well, more specifically, i can't use it on living beings, current or former. And i can only do it within a certain range."
He then scratched the back of his head, "Still, i think that's enough of a science lesson for today."
He then looked behind him and saw his men on a rooftop loading up their stolen goods on a hovering aircraft called AeroSwift-10, a civilian class airship. It has a sleek and aerodynamic fuselage that mimics the look of a falcon in flight. It has glowing lines of energy that run along different points of its hull. Its wings curve downwards that act as landing gears and stabilizer fins at the rear. Its side panels can slide open to be used for boarding.
"Well, looks like my ride is here." he then bows in his usual style, "have a lovely day you 3. Tah-tah for now!"
He then turned around and ran towards a building. He then took out his sword and drew segmented rectangles in the air and warped the structure of the wall to form a make shift staircase.
"HEY!!" Kagari shouted in anger.
Then trio then rush after him. Kaelen sees this and simply drew another rectangle and transforms the concrete into a large makeshift wall.
"Wow... it really is like clay..." Ayame muttered in amazement and awe.
She then saw her sister glare at her, "ah-heheheheee"
"I got this," the boy said as he walks forward.
"What are you gonna do?" Kagari asked.
"Oh-oh! Are you gonna use that cool thing you did before?!" Ayame asked but then puts a finger on her chin, "now what did you call it again?"
"Heh. Nope. I'm gonna punch it."
Then girls then look at him with deadpan expressions on their faces.
"..... What?"
The pair then looked at each other before shrugging their shoulders.
Kagari then gestures at him, "sure, whatever. Go on ahead."
The boy then cracked his knuckles and clenches his right fist. Then a swirling aura of Kiryoku surrounds it. He lowers himself into more of a battle stance as the energy becomes more violent like a wild flame.

With one mighty strike of his fist, the wall shattered into rubble. Sending loose debris flying in different directions.
Kagari eyes practically bulged from her sockets. "He actually did it....."
"I thought he was joking..." Ayame added, equally as shocked.
"Uh..... girls?" the boy pointed at the airship about to take off. "The bad guys are getting away."
"Oh right!!" the sisters shouted in unison, snapping out of their awe.
As the trio sprinted towards the building, each used their own methods to climb up the wall of the building. Kagari used the Boost ability of her Shinketsu to launch herself into the air. She would land on different objects, such as AC units or window seals, then use Boost again. Ayame took out her spear and showing her acrobatic skills, which use it to propel herself up and, like her sister, uses different objects to vault off of. The unnamed boy just smirks as he takes out his sword and slashes the air to his side. This causes the blade to extended into a whip. He would then use it as a make shift grappling hook to propel himself into the air. Swinging off of poles and fences.
All three managed to land on the rooftop in near-perfect synchronicity that felt almost rehearsed, but it was already too late.
The airship has already begun to ascend into the air.
"You're not getting away that easy!" Kagari roared before slamming her fists together, then getting into a fighting stance.
"Boost: Air Cannon Barrage!" She roared with all her might.
By rapidly punching the air, she caused multiple Air Cannon bullets to get fired towards the Airship
"Javelin: Onslaught!" Ayame followed up by spinning her spear before rapidly thrusting it into the air, causing multiple Javelin projectiles to be launched.
"Heh.... i dont have anything flashy like that. Guess i gotta improvise!" the boy said with a grin,
"Hydra: Typhoon!"
His blade would go into the normal Hydra formation before spinning around him so fast that a vortex of wind would surround him. The tip of each blade would pierce loose chucks of debris before hurling them towards the Airship at extreme speeds.

Boost: Air Cannon Barrage
A rapid fire version of the normal Air Cannon technique. Each one is just as powerful as a normal Air Cannon blast but now a barrage of them, but they are smaller than the normal version. The number of blasts is up to the user.
Javelin: Onslaught
This is a more rapid fire barrage version of the normal Javelin ability. Each projectile is weaker than the normal one but the sheer overwhelming number of them makes up for it.
Hydra: Typhoon
This is a technique version of the normal Hydra ability. Unlike it, the blades would rapidly spin around the user at such speeds that a mini tornado would form around them. It's versatile in both offense and defense but carries its own risks.

Each projectile and debris would rush towards the airship, with its pilot doing his best to evade the attacks. Despite his best efforts, some would still make contact with its hull, causing cuts and holes to form.
On the inside Kaelen calmly walks up to a cloaked figure and said with a soft voice, "looks like we'll be needing your help, sweetheart."
The figure would nod slightly before walking towards the side hatch. As the door slid open, wind howls within the airship. The trio saw an opportunity and focused all their attacks towards the opening.
But what would happen next would defy all logic, even in their world.
The figure calmly raised their hand and........ stopped each attack with their barehand. Concrete. Rebar. Compressed wind. Energy projectiles. Everything was crushed or deflected without leaving behind a scratch, not even a dust mark. No armor. No gloves. Just their flesh and bones.
Kagari practically dropped in shock. "Okay.... uh, wow."
The boy just smiles, "Oh? Looks like its finally getting interesting."
"You kids, stand down." a firm and commanding voice echoed from behind them.
The trio would turn around to see a stunning woman with long and wavy darkened crimson hair tied into a high ponytail. 2 of her bangs would frame her face. Her eyes would glow a deep red color and her attire was a crimson red blazer over a white shirt with a black tie, tailored pants with golden trims, knee-high boosts and finally a black belt with a silver buckle on it. Her presence oozed with authority, even her stance screamed it. On her hip was a long, sleek rifle like weapon that had a black body with red and gold accents.

"She's a top-ranked Sentarii, and she's the Vice Principal of Hakugetsu Academy! She's insanely popular." Ayame squealed in fangirl fashion.
Reika just lets out a sigh, "I never asked to be, but that's not important. You kids get back. I'll take it from here."
The unnamed boy just lets out an audible, 'awwww'. Causing the pair of sisters to look at him.
Reika would raise her hand close to her face before quickly pointing her open palm towards a nearby AC unit. Then a crimson aura began to surround it before getting into the air. The unit would then transform into a massive buzz saw spinning at extreme speeds. With a simple flick in her fingers, the saw would get launched towards the airship
The cloaked figure would calmly raise their hand. Then a silver aura would surround their hand. Then the aura would sprout tendrils.
"What....? That's Soul Energy?!" Reika would gasp in shock.
"Soul energy? What's that?" Ayame asked while tilting her head.
Without looking at her, Reika would respond. "It's the power of the soul itself. It's incredibly rare and equally dangerous, but..... It's supposed to be impossible to use now. So how are they?"
The tendrils would then launch into different directions and seemingly latch onto something. These tendrils would then form into partially translucent wall. The buzz saw could then clash against the wall before coming to a complete stop.
"Tch, damn...... Huh?" Reika would be annoyed before noticing something in the wall. Flickering blue flames.
"Wait, are those....... soul fragments?"
The wall would then vanish, with the figure now raising their other hand. They appear to have muttered something before a red spell circle would form in the front of their palm. It had a flame like symbol at the center with 2 circles with runic markings surrounding it.
"They can use magic too?" Reika would gasp before a red light would shine, "GET DOWN!!"
This causes the trio to look at her before looking up at the cloaked figure. What they saw was 3 smaller circles form around the main one like planets orbiting a sun.
"Oh no, that's high level magic." she thought to herself in a panic.
Then streams of fire formed from the smaller circles that then gathered at the center of the larger one. Then a massive fireball begins to form, one much larger than the airship itself. With it now fully formed, the figure launches it at the group.
"Oh no, the kids!" Reika yelled in a panic.
In a panic, she tried to open both of her palms to intercept it, but before she could do anything, the boy stepped forward.
"Kid, move! That spell is too dangerous, it's not something you can-!"
The boy then smirked, "just sounds like fun to me."
He then took out his sword and raised it into the air, "Hydra: Grand Typhoon!"
The blade would segment like normal and would rapidly spin around him. Then the vortex would form again but this time it was getting bigger and spinning faster. Soon it felt as if a real tornado has formed as the others had to shield their eyes. With the exception of Reika, who just narrowed her eyes.
The giant fireball would then collide with it. As the ball would continue to collide with it, it would get shredded apart before being dispelled.
Everyone stood still in shock
Even the cloaked figure flinched before recomposing themselves.
Seeing her opportunity, Reika uses her Tenryoku to tear up chucks of the buildings rooftop and shape them into thousands of razor-sharp, bird like construct. They spun around her like a storm.
"Go." she then pointed with her hand the swarm rushed towards the ship
Despite this, the figured remained calm, they didn't even flinch. They just calmly raised their hand and, with elegance, they drew a sweeping line in the air. In that instant, an enormous wall of fire erupted from the ground, towering well over six stories tall. The brightness alone forced everyone to shield their eyes. Its sure heat caused winds that would blow towards them.
When the bird like constructs hit the fire...... they melted instantly.
"God damn, it's too hot!" Kagari shouted barely able to open her eyes, even a little.
She barely managed to turn to look at her sister and saw how much she was struggling.
"Ayame!"
Kagari rushed towards her sister and wraps her arms around her in an effort to shield her from the searing heat.
Reika's thoughts began to race. "Those flames melted solid concrete like they were nothing but this isn't magic, its..... something else..... no, i need to focus on the kids first."
Then the wall of flames began to twist, forming 5 serpent-like heads that loomed over them with glowing eyes and gnashing jaws.
"What..... in the hell is that?" Reika gasped, "it's not a Tenryoku..... and it's far too controlled to be normal magic."
Meanwhile, the boy was staring at the flames with a grin on his face, his sword beginning to glow from the heat. Without hesitation, she charged at the wall of flames and leapt into the air and slashed his sword down in a blazing arc.
The wall of flames was blown away before vanishing.
But the airship...... was gone.
"tch....... damn it." the boy then lands on the rooftop, "right when i finally found and interesting fight."
As he stood there, steam began to emit from his hand, "DAMN THAT WAS HOT!!" he reacted in an almost comedic way, frantically blowing on his singed hands.
His sword fell onto the ground, clearly red from being super heated.
"Incredible," Kagari whispered in amazement, "he actually cut through those flames."
"His Shinketsu... It's not even scratched" Ayame noted as she looked at his sword.
"Not surprising" Reika said as she approached them. "Our Shinketsu cant be broken. At least not without very specific means. Here, this will help."
She lifted her hand, and uses her ability to reshape 2 AC units into a massive fan that blasted cold air their way.
"Ahhhh- That's the stuff." Kagari and Ayame sighed in unison, with goofy grins on their faces.
Reika looked at the pair and smiled a small smile but she just as quickly went serious again. Her gaze shifted towards the boy. Despite his burns, he looks completely fine as his wounds are already healing.
She then looks back to where the airship had vanished before narrowing her eyes.
"That power..... it wasn't a normal Tenryoku." Reika began to think of herself. "It wasn't magic either. Besides, i got a good read on their energy it wasn't Elvarin nor Dravyn. I've never seen anything like it before. Then there's that troublesome ability to control souls or at least soul fragments. This is something new..... something dangerous."
"I need to inform the Headmaster about this. But first..." she then turns back to look at the trio.
Kagari and Ayame were still basking in the fans cool breeze. The boy? He was standing close to the edge of the roof, staring off into the distance.
"That boy, his wounds...... their almost completely healed?"
Back with the sisters, Ayame would glance sideways, her expression curious as she lightly tugged at her sisters sleeve.
"Hey, sis,"
"Yeah?" Kagari turned to look at her sister with his brow raised.
"That boy... why were you so surprised at what he did?" Ayame asked with a cute tilt of her head, her soft silver hair swaying with the motion, "can't you do that stuff too?"
Kagari followed her gaze to see the black-haired boy standing a short distance away, shaking his hands slightly from the heat.
"Oh, that." she then let out a grin, cracking her knuckles by balling up her fists finger by finger. She had a fiery spark in her eyes. "I wasn't surprised he could do it. i was just surprised someone else can fight like me."
Her grin then widened as it turned into a cocky smirk, "it makes me wanna fight him."
"Hmmm, then let's go say hi!" Ayame said brightly, clasping onto her sisters hand.
"Eh? Hey, w-wait, Ayame?!"
Before she could protect further, Kagari was already being dragged along by her sister.
"Hey dude!" Ayame called out cheerfully, waving her hand with the energy of a thousand suns.
"Huh?" the boy blinked, turning to face them. "Oh. It's you 2. What's up?"
"Well, we never introduced ourselves!" Ayame said, her voice bubbly as always, "I'm Ayame Hoshizora and this is my big sister, Kagari- same last name!"
The boy looked at the pair for a moment, blinking his eyes a few times.
".... You 2 look nothing alike."
"Hehe, we get that a lot." Ayame laughed innocently.
"It's.... complicated," Kagari added, waving her in a dismissive manner, "anyways, we told you our names. Don't you think its only right you return the favor?"
"Oh, right." he then uses his thumb to point at his chest, "the name is Raizen Takahara and one day I'll become the strongest Sentarii in the world."
"Ohhh?" Kagari stepped forward, with a smirk on her face. "Is that so?" she cracks her knuckles, her grin getting wider, "that might be...... difficult."
Raizen forms an equally cocky smile, "really? Well, i look forward to the challenge."
The pair continued to stare each other down, intense and unwavering.
Then they both chuckled and bumped fists.
"Race you to the top?" Kagari challenged with her cocky smirk.
"Heh, that's if you can keep up." Raizen shot back with an even bigger cocky smirk.
"Oh-ho-ho! Challenged accepted!" Kagari said.
"YAY!! A new friend!!" Ayame popped up out of nowhere, right between them like an excited puppy. Her arms wrapped around their shoulders, "Let's go on a tone of adventures together! Meet new friends, see amazing places, and eat SO MUCH ICE CREAM!!"
"Yeah, she has a major sweet tooth. i blame our parents." Kagari said with a laugh.
"Who doesn't?" Raizen said with a grin.
"Fair point." Kagari smirked chuckled.
The trio then shared a good laugh together. That is, until a familiar commanding voice cuts through the sweet moment like a blade.
"Ahem."
They turned to see Reika standing there with her arms crossed, her crimson blazer fluttering slightly in the breeze.
"As touching as this all is, I'm afraid i must interrupt this little party," she said, her voice firm. "You 3 will be coming with me. We have..... a lot to talk about."
Her tone them sharpened.
"And no, you can't refuse."
The trio glanced at each other before laughing nervously in unison.
What seemed like a simple encounter.... a random twist of fate..... an everyday encounter......
Would become something far greater.
This meeting, this moment, would become the spark that would set the world of Eienkyo ablaze.
Whether it will lead to the worlds' salvation...
Or its ruin....
Would depend entirely on the path they choose.
But one thing was certain.
They would each play an important role in shaping the fate everyone.

Thunder roared in the skies above. Lightning lit the clouds with the brilliance unnatural, casting an eerie shadow upon the quiet town below. Rain poured heavily, soaking the street and darkening the alleyways.
A lone figure is calmly walking through the storm.
Their long trench coat clung to them, the hood pulled far over their face, concealing everything about them but a twisted smile that curled at the edge of their lips.
They continued to walk without pause, until 3 towering thugs stepped in front of them. They appeared muscular and so tall that the figures head reaches their chest.
"Well, well, well," the first of the 3 sneered. "Looks like someone's a little lost."
"Hehehe, i could've sworn they said 'please take my money'," the second evilly chuckled.
The 3rd then reaches forward and grabs the cloaked figure by the shoulder. "Let's show this little shrimp..... a good time."
They then dragged the figure into a nearby alleyway while snickering.
Then the streets of this little town went silent. All that's left is the sounds of rain dropped hitting the ground and the distant sounds of thunder.
Then-
The sounds of blood curling screams that were barely hidden from the thunder.

Sicking sounds echoed through the alley, flesh being ripped, bones snapping and wet splattering.
Then one of the thugs manage to leave the alley, but they fell. Their eyes wide in unholy terror.

He desperately tries to scream, his voice filled with so much fear, so much pain. He pleads for help....... but no one hears him.
Except for one-
From the darkness behind him, a writhing mass of dark purple energy, outlined in indigo, slowly flowed out from the alley. His eyes were filled with terror as tears ran down his cheeks. Then tendrils lashed out and piercing his arms, legs and back, slowly dragging him back, inch by inch. His tried to dig his fingers into the concrete path so hard that his finger nails ripped off and trails of blood is left behind.
"NOOOO-NO, NOOOOO!! HELP HEEEEE-!!!"

Only the sound of rain and distant thunder remained.
Then, slowly.... the cloaked figure stepped out from the alley and continued to walk down their original path.

They kept walking forward, unaffected by what happened.
Another flash of lightning lit up the sky, revealing a glint of their face. A smirk, twisted and sinister, was planted on their lips. Almost as if they enjoyed their kill.
And just underneath the hood....
A single strand of silver fell into view, gleaming faintly with........ a purple hue.
Then, everything faded to black.
One final clap of thunder echoes through the world of Eienkyo.
The clock of destiny, has begun counting down.
Will Eienkyo survive? Or will it fall into ruin?
Only time....... will tell.

A/n: welp that's it for my very first original story, what did y'all think about it? No gonna lie, I'm still nervous about this as this my first original story so it's new territory for me. Sorry, it was different, but i wanted to get out of my comfort zone and try something new. i hope it wasn't too bad, as I'm still not very good at this. I'm still getting used to completely writing everything my self and original characters and concepts. Things will probably still be rough around the edges, but i'll try my best to iron them out. Oh, after this I'll start using, "Intermission" cards during the timeskips. I just didn't see much point here, as it's the first chapter and there wasn't much information introduced yet. im also trying my best to get better as foreshadowing and showing not telling, which is hard in text format. Trying to be subtle about things is pretty hard to do in text formatting. And yes, this will be standard. There won't be many images and music stuff. i'll put in some, just not that much to fit the visual novel style I'm going for. Welp, that's all i can think about. So i'll see you...... in the next chapter.
