When the bell rang, signaling the end of the class, the boy woke up, rubbed his eyes, and glanced at me.

He just looked at me blankly before turning and walking away. "Rude," I thought.
A few moments later, a cheerful girl approached me. "Hey, I’m Sayasha, your class mentor," she introduced herself with a warm smile. I shook her hand.
She was friendly, and after a brief chat, she invited me to a party. Partying isn’t really my thing, but I didn’t want to turn down the first friend I’d made, so I agreed.
At The Party
At the party, the music was loud, and everyone was having a great time, but I felt out of place. We played games and sang songs, but I couldn’t shake the feeling of boredom.
“It's already 10 PM,” I said, looking at the time. “I should get going.”
As I stepped out of the party, I saw a commotion—a group of people was fighting. I froze. Fights always made me nervous, and I had no idea how to handle it. I considered slipping away unnoticed, but then I realized one of the fighters was the same boy from earlier—the one who had ignored me.
He was surrounded by four guys, all shouting at him. I wanted to leave, but I couldn’t just walk away. Without thinking, I rushed forward.
"I called the Police !" I yelled.
The group of guys turned to me. One of them smirked. “Oh, where’d you find this girl?” he said, his eyes narrowing as he stepped toward me.
Before he could get closer, the boy—my desk mate—punched him. The sound of a police siren cut through the night air. The group scattered, running off in different directions.
I grabbed the boy’s hand, pulling him toward the street corner.
"Don’t ever do something like this again," he scolded.
I felt conflicted. Was I wrong for helping?---look that's my house over there come i'll give you medicine.He insisted but i grabbed his hand and took him to my house.
When we reached my house, I opened the door.
"I'm home," I called out.
My mother, startled, rushed over. “NaNa, are you injured?” she asked, looking at the boy.
“It’s... an accident,” I quickly explained. I didn’t want to reveal too much.
“Let me help you with that,” I said to the boy, pulling him inside. He didn’t say a word as I cleaned and bandaged his injuries.
Afterward, he stood up and said, “I should go now.”
Not even a “thank you,” I thought.
Before he could leave, my mother invited him to stay for dinner. He nodded silently, and we all sat down at the table—my mother, father, brother, grandmother, and me.
As we ate, my mother bombarded him with questions: “Does NaNa made any friends? Are you in the same class? Can you look after her?”
“Mom, stop,” I muttered, embarrassed.
But my mom didn’t let up, serving food with her usual warm smile. When we were done eating and Harsh was about to leave, he looked at my family and said, “Your family is lively.”
I smiled and said, “Everyone’s like that here.”
“Not mine,” he replied quietly, before turning and leaving.
The Next Day
He came into class and sat beside me. After a moment of awkward silence, he finally spoke. "Harsh."

“So, you want to be friends?” I asked, trying to lighten the mood with a smile.

Later, the teacher called on him to answer a question. I wrote down the answer for him. When he woke up, he quickly read what I had written.
After class, I couldn’t resist asking, “Want to say anything?”
He glanced at me. “I didn’t ask for your help,” he replied flatly.
I smiled, shrugging off his harsh tone.
As I was heading home, Harsh caught up with me. “I can walk you home,” he offered, surprising me.
As we walked, he opened up a little. “My family runs a business. They don’t have much time for me,” he said quietly. “I usually get into fights... it’s how I deal with my anger.”
I was beginning to see a different side of him—he wasn’t just some bad boy. He was just a guy dealing with his own struggles.
After that day, I started feeling safer around him. There was more to Harsh than he let on, and maybe, just maybe, he wasn’t as bad as I thought.
A few months had passed, and things had settled into a routine. But today , Everyone was staring at me. Whispers filled the air.

“She’s the one…”
“I thought she was so innocent... how could she do something like that?”
I couldn’t understand what was going on, but the gossip was unmistakable. My heart raced as I felt the weight of their judgment.
Before I could process what was happening, I felt a firm grip on my hand. Harsh rushed over and pulled me away from the crowd.
“Wait, what happened?” I asked, confused.
He didn’t answer. Instead, he led me swiftly down the hall. But I caught sight of a group of students gathered near the school wall, gossiping furiously.
“What’s going on?” I asked, but Harsh just tugged at my hand.
“No, let’s go. It’s not worth it,” he urged, his tone unusually serious.
I hesitated, looking back at the crowd. Something inside me told me I needed to see what was happening.
I pulled my hand from his grip. “No, I want to see,” I said, my curiosity getting the better of me.
As I reached the crowd, my eyes fell on what they were staring at—my photos. But they weren’t like anything I’d ever seen. They were intimate, disturbing images of me, in various stages of undress—nude, I couldn’t breathe. The photos were all over the wall, spread out like some cruel joke.
I froze, my heart pounding in my chest. I felt every pair of eyes on me, every whisper slicing through the air.
Harsh appeared out of nowhere, and before I knew what was happening, he grabbed my arm and pulled me away, rushing me out of the crowd.
“Let’s go. Right now,” he said, his voice tight, protective.
I couldn’t speak. I couldn’t even look at him. I was in a daze, my mind racing through a thousand thoughts.
We reached the outside, and Harsh wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a tight hug. I trembled in his arms, still unable to process what was happening.
“It’s not me… it’s not me…” I sobbed, barely able to get the words out.
“I know, Aliana. I know,” Harsh murmured, his voice steady but laced with frustration. “I’ve already sent someone to find out who did this. We’ll figure it out, I promise.”
But no matter what he said, the tears wouldn’t stop. “No… it’s not me… it’s not me…” I kept repeating, my voice breaking.
A few minutes later, someone came running toward us. "We found out who did it," they said, out of breath. "It’s from the morning surveillance. It’s a girl from the junior class."

She interrupted again, her words bitter. "And Harsh. I’ve liked him for five years. But when you showed up, he changed. He treated you differently—he actually cared about you. He never looked at me, but he looked at you. Why? Why not me?"
I stood there, speechless. How was I supposed to respond to that?
Her voice dropped to a whisper, filled with hate. "I hate you, Aliana. If you weren’t here, none of this would’ve happened. I would still be the one everyone notices."
A chill ran down my spine. "So, you ruined me out of jealousy?" I asked, my voice cracking.
She nodded. "Yes, I ruined you. And if I had the chance, I’d make you disappear."
Harsh stepped forward, fury in his eyes, and slapped her hard across the face. The sound of the slap echoed through the hallway.
"Just you wait," he said, his voice cold and threatening.
"Harsh, how could you?",
"You... you can’t just do that!"
She looked up at him, still crying, and then her eyes locked on me. "I was good to you," she said bitterly. "I liked you. Why don’t you like me back? I’m rich, I’m good-looking… What’s so special about her? Why her, and not me?"
I could barely process the words she was throwing at me. I wasn’t the one who had done anything wrong, but here she was, blaming me for everything. "You’re not her," Harsh said simply, his voice like steel.
She let out a bitter laugh, almost like a hiss. "And that’s why you don’t like me. Because I’m not her."...Harsh submitted evidence to school Adminstration.
The school took immediate action.
There, the administration informed us of their decision.
"The school has arranged for her transfer," the principal said. "She will be leaving, and we will issue an official apology for the distress she caused you, Aliana."
