Arjun was sleeping suddenly he had a dream , but not just any dream it was nightmare, In this dream he is 13 years old ,trapped in a red room with the smell of blood, dead body is in the corner its organs taken out, Arjun is on a chair , his parents are angry at him for telling the police that they are murders and they have killed many people.
Arjun:(in dream)no mom dad please don’t beat me up
Dad : You little rat you told the police that we are murders , how could you do that?
Arjun: so what justice needs to be served to everyone you two killed especially me (hits with a belt) ouch
Mom: what did I do to raise you like this ? you brat , you don’t deserve justice
Dad : yeah and its for a reason ( Hits again)
Arjun : ouch ,for what reason huh ? you kill them and sell their organs
Mom: that’s no way of talking to your parents, you must be punished for being a tattletale, Maybe this will teach you a lesson
And then Arjun’s mom took out the bottle of poison and left ,it’s smell slowly started making Arjun’s nose tickle, Thankfully he managed to escape ton the nearby park suddenly a void opened , Arjun went inside it there he meets the king of the revenants .
Mr Finch : Hello Arjun I was expecting you
Arjun: Who are you , what is this place
Mr Finch : I am the king of the revenants, Mr Finch and this the kingdom of the revenants , I want you to join us, I know your backstory, you want justice , I will help you get your parents arrested , you will have a better family, the one that won’t beat you ,so do you accept
Arjun : yes
Mr finch : great , now see the news
News anchor: ( on Tv) as we can see here Mr and Mrs Henderson are being arrested for murdering, child abuse and human trafficking
Media:(on tv) so what do you want to say to your son
Mom : (being handcuffed by police) Arjun you brat , you will pay for this
Arjun : ( sighs) as if you are the criminal here
After that dream Arjun wakes up, he thinks about it he remembered it he looked at his scars they reminded him of his bloody past, after all his trauma is something dark, full of horrible things and the worst parents on earth.
Part2 : : What Monsters Teach Their Sons( Jack)
Jack had recently been adopted by a nice family, his new parents Mr and Mrs Cole and also had a brother Sam, Jack seemed like a normal boy until the day a sound of glass shattering came to jack’s ears , Jack put his hands on his ears and tears started coming from his eyes as Mr Cole calmed Jack down , after this incident Sam got suspicious of him and thought why did his parents adopted him ?. So he searched his house but found nothing then he planned to google Jack he found a news document on him, he read it, it said
Parents who badly treated their 12-year-old son (name hidden to protect identity) subjected him to severe abuse, using belts, sharp objects, and other tools—not their hands—to beat him brutally. They claimed he was "taking too long to become perfect" and labeled him a bad student. In reality, his school life was fairly average, with no signs of serious academic or behavioral issues. Their harsh treatment stemmed from unrealistic expectations and a toxic obsession with perfection, turning ordinary childhood struggles into excuses for violence. Instead of support and guidance, the boy faced fear and pain in what should have been a safe home.
Despite the abuse, he continued to attend school, often hiding his injuries and emotional distress from teachers and classmates. The constant pressure and violence took a toll on his mental health, leaving him anxious, withdrawn, and deeply insecure. His story is a tragic reminder of how perfectionism, when fueled by cruelty, can destroy a child’s sense of safety and self-worth.
After reading this Sam was reeling with shock , he asked jack about it and ended up opening up about his past. So Sam told his parents about it they signed him up to therapy sessions , slowly his mental health got better. Jack had other thoughts that he told no one his parents were mythical creatures which made him a hybrid of a vampire and a werewolf, to get out of his parents hands , he accepted to join the revenants when he was asked by the king of the revenants.
