Ch 7: Under the Crescent Moon
Amy turned into her werewolf form , and walked to the outskirts of Lucknow, she entered the cave of the pack, there was new member at the pack he seemed lost so the pack had earlier helped him and added him to their group, they all walked around woods , howling upon seeing the beautiful crescent moon, their yellow irises glowed under the moonlight, as the new wolf started teasing her through snarls in a playful way, the whole pack was pouncing , mated wolves chasing each other , having fun and stopping by a stream to quench their thirst , amy feels warmth realizes that she is going to change into her human form , she howls and the new wolf howls back, she walks back to the cave, as she turns back into human form , she always kept a outfit for herself in the cave , just in case she turned into a human, she put on clothes and went off realized new wolf was following her he howled and left she walked back home , her house was close to the woods, she went inside and fell asleep listening to the howls of the wolves as the pack broke off.
The next day Amy woke up, and got ready to go at her workplace, she was sitting by the reception , waiting for the patients in line to tell their symptoms, prescribe medicines, lunch rolled by and she was busy taking patients files , as she climbed down the stairs , she missed a step by mistake and was about to fall on her face ,suddenly jack caught her ,as she fell into his arms she felt lost in his beautiful amber eyes, Jack couldn’t help but blush realizing how pretty she looked, time felt still as they both stood over there, after that jack put her back on her feet, she thanked him for saving her, she felt a sharp pain in her ankle . I think I have sprained my ankle, she said , don’t worry my office is just down there I will go ahead and get the first aid kit, said jack, he went down and got the first aid kit , came up and wrapped the crap bandage , around her ankle and helped her in walking to her office, she sat down and took out her lunch as he waved bye to her and left, she felt butterflies thinking of the way he had touched her, as her work time ended .
jack offered to help her to get back home, since she was limping, they stopped to grab a cup of coffee , due to feeling cold, Jack blushed as his and Amy’s hands brushed while taking the coffee from the counter, Amy also felt sparks as they bumped while laughing on stupid jokes that jack was telling, they both loved crime thriller books and could talk about crime mysteries, she also told him when a guy was madly in love with her ,he tried to kidnap her just to have her for himself, and after that he went to jail for 7 years when she was 16 , but when he came out he started stalking her , so she got a restraining order , after he heard this he felt a bit protective towards , as they kept walking,
Amy’s favourite bookstore was there and there had been a restock of new books, they both entered the place , full of books and had a scent of jasmine in the air , he recommended her a book called the silent patient by Alex Michaelides , so she bought the book and went back home , and got a call from friend group asking her how the plan was going and that they should meet up later on to make strategies for their plan, after the call ended she gotta message from the werewolf world telling her to go to the laboratory , she opened a portal, and entered the place walked straight to laboratory swiped the card to enter inside a bunch of scientists were gathered around the discussion table looking at a box sent by the vampires, inside of it was a slimey creature named experiment 550 uniqueness , with red eyes it made a terrible yawing sound .
Amy: woah this experiment looks cool
Head scientist: yeah, there is a letter also(starts reading the letter out aloud)
The letter:
Dear Scientists of the Werewolf World,
I present to you Experiment 550: Uniqueness, a creature created to destroy revenants and ghouls. However, there has been a serious malfunction in both its mentality and power levels. Due to interference from the revenants, the experiment has become unstable.
The creature is capable of rapidly regenerating its organs and can reproduce through asexual reproduction. Because of this, it must be handled with extreme caution. Special care should also be taken when feeding it, as vomiting releases radioactive substances.

Amy: ( in mind: letter was sent by Karan) so what are we supposed to do with it ?, maybe we should , add some powers to it.
Scientist 1: we can add super strength to it
Scientist2: yeah but we have to be careful , as there is a malfunction in its mentality
Head scientist : fine first of all bring the tranquilizer
Amy: here ,(handing the tranquilizer)
Creature: arrrrrgh ( gets jabbed with the tranquilizer)
Head scientist : ok now I need these chemicals, super cohride , strength holdride and gallium kokride
Scientist2 : ok here , is super cohride and strength holdride , but I cant find gallium kokhride
Scientist 1 : I found gallium kokhride
Head scientist: ok great , I just have to jab all of these at once, hold all of its limbs
Amy: ok (holds its limbs)
Head scientist: ready, ( jabs the injection in its body) ok now we just need to test its strength , but it well take another for it to wake up, so I dismiss you all we will test its strength tomorrow
In the revenant world:
Mr finch : I got to know through one of my spies that the creature made by vampires was sent to the werewolf world, I want you two to go ahead and jab the newest chemical made by our worlds
Tiana: yes your majesty
Mr finch: you will meet the spy there, and he will let you through the lab, you shall go now
Arjun: yes your majesty
Arjun opened the portal as , and Tiana followed him into the portal.
At the werewolf world:
Jack (as a undercover spy, wearing a face mask): hi , here is your lab coats and cards
Arjun: is that you Jack ?
Jack: yeah ,should have told me you and Tiana were coming
Tiana: well the king didn’t tell us who was the spy, we were meeting
Jack: ok anyways follow me
They follow jack, into the lab
In the lab
Jack: you have the chemical right?
Arjun: yeah , meterutie jellium
Jack : what does it do
Tiana: super vision and it will help us malfunction the creature’s mentality
Jack: ok you two go in , I will meet you outside
Tiana: (goes in the lab)ok the creature is in the pool
Arjun: (carefully takes it out) here
Tiana: ( hears footsteps )oh no get down
Amy: is someone here?(sees the creature )how did you get out? Let me just put you back ,(puts the creature back in the cage and left)
Arjun: phew! that was close
Tiana: yeah , anyways we need to inject the chemical
Arjun: (takes the creature out of the cage) now we just need to inject ( sees a mini version of the creature ) wait look at that Tiana
Tiana: that’s a offspring of the creature, we can take it and present it to our world, and it will help us in the war
Arjun: ok then I will inject the chemical into it ,(injects the chemical into the offspring)
Tiana: ok lets go
They both leave and meet jack and tell him about the offspring , he already knew it could reproduce by itself(because he read the read the letter),he tells Tiana and Arjun about the letter and warnings in it the creature is presented to the king and he is impressed by the scientists and his spies.
Later on when jack was riding his motorcycle slowly he noticed a familiar person on a motorcycle he turned up his gear and followed that person , after sometime of chasing the motorcycle had finally come to a stop, he saw the person walk into a dark alley and then discussing something and coming out of the dark alley was Amy ,he was shocked and then when she saw him, she couldn’t help but feel nervous .
Jack : what were you doing in that back alley? are you involved in something illegal?
Amy :(nervous) no I am not involved in illegal activity , I was just coming through a shortcut,
Jack: don’t lie to me I saw you talking to someone
Amy: I wasn’t talking to anyone , you must be seeing things(phone starts to ring) I need to go back home , bye
Jack: fine if you don’t feel comfortable telling me , bye
Amy got on her motorcycle and rode off , Jack was thinking what was going no and why was she in the dark alley, while Amy got back home and called her father back.
Amy on a call with her father :
Amy: hello dad
Dad: hi Amy, how was the exchange was it successful
Amy: yeah it was , thanks for helping me
Dad: ok honey, bye
Amy: bye
Amy thought of how she had lied to Jack ,the real reason she was in the alley was because someone found out about her fake identity , how she had changed her name form Maria and how she ran away from her mother’s house and blackmailed her about how they would real identity to her mother, she hadn’t met her mother since she was eight years old and if her mother knew , her mother could easily exploit her , ruin her job and her mother didn’t know she was a werewolf , at the time she was going to turn into one her dad had already told her.
The next day Amy woke up and got ready for work, she felt nervous considering the fact that Jack had seen her in the back alley was concerning and she didn’t even know what she would say to him if he asked her , she wished that he wouldn’t question her , as she walked to the metro station ,there he was standing in front of the metro, as the gates opened , and they stepped into the metro , between them a tension and the last night’s confession lingered in the air
Jack: hi
Amy:(nervously)hi
Jack: What were you doing last night in that alley way(In Mind :Why am I asking her the same question, I asked her last night)
Amy: Uhh nothing
Jack: you look nervous and you are obviously lying
Amy: ( in mind: why does he care) why do you care
Jack: Because when I left… I saw someone standing behind you.
Amy : that was no one important
Jack: Fine. Don’t tell me.
After that the metro stopped and they both got off and started walking towards the hospital, suddenly a strong cold wind hits jack.
ack: (sneezes loudly) — damn.
Amy: (without looking at him, pulls out a hankie and hands it to him)
Jack: …thanks.
(He takes it, wipes his nose.)
Jack: You always carry tissues?
Amy: People get sick.
Jack: Or you expect people to get sick.
Amy: (quick glance at him) Maybe I just don’t like noise.
jack: …
Amy: (after a pause) Let’s go.
After their tiring day at work they walked to the metro station

(A few moments of silence between them as they walk.)
Amy: (pulls out a water bottle and takes a quick sip)
(Jack glances at it but says nothing.)
Amy: (after a pause) You want?
Jack: (hesitates) …yeah.
(Amy hands it to him without thinking.)
(Their fingers brush for a second.)
(Jack takes it, notices it was already opened.)
(He drinks anyway.)
(A pause lingers between them longer than it should.)
Jack: …
Amy: …what?
Jack: Nothing.
(He looks away first.)
Amy:(In mind: that was a indirect kiss)…..
Jack: :(In mind: that was a indirect kiss) I am sorry for thatAmy: (trying not to smile) You’re acting like something huge happened.
Jack: Maybe for you it didn’t.
(Amy looks at him for a second, surprised.)
Amy: (quickly) I didn’t say that.
(Jack finally looks at her.)
Amy: (In mind: why is my heart beating so fast?)
Jack: (softly) Then what are you saying?
(Amy opens her mouth, then closes it again.)
Amy: …nothing.
(They continue walking side by side, both suddenly very aware of the small distance between them.) eventually they reach home and say goodbye to eachother.

That night…
Amy stares at the ceiling, replaying the moment again and again, a small smile appearing on her face before she hides under her blanket.
At the same time, Jack lies awake in his room, annoyed at himself for smiling over something so stupid.
