She completely froze him in time as a seconds clock appeared beside him , recording how much time Dennis was Saving from him " Now that the operator has been handled , let's take care of the clones "
Dennis Loads All-seeing eye on the Clone outside and heard a thought ' Find the master ' she finds a priority list and figures that this was part of programming used to suppress the free will of the clone .
' The problem is how it is attached to this clone ' Dennis thought of a visible cybernetic attachment , but from how natural all the clones look like , she thought it could be nanomachines doing the objectifying works .
' But if that's the case , it might become too difficult for me to figure out ' Dennis thought that it could be possible that her location would be surrounded the moment she goes out if she had given them time , but she had plenty of time with her in exchange for letting them have the luxury of time .
She didn't exactly feel like learning programming right now and she planned to save the skill points that Deks is processing out of skills for something else and then Deks asked about how they can process the trait cards .
" We'll think about processing the trait cards later on , they have such variety it's difficult to see what could be the right channels to process them " Dennis told Deks .
She pushes a thought away because she needs to focus on how to remove that objectifying trait so that she can better handle the clones .
Saver points out that she was letting a learning opportunity go , but Dennis notes that her mother would get mad at her for not handling it like a sensible person and simply throwing herself in without a proper plan . She puts on her black leather jacket and checks how well she is able to turn her body's DNA and confirms it as scales , fur , feathers appeared on her skin .
' Seems like we managed to shake off the restriction ' Dennis got a few cards which have severely changed from Deks curiosity and revisions ' Feels like I'm that character who is trapped in an infinite library and reading all the books of the library , but this is much more different since I don't have a massive library '
She checks a shelf she filled because Deks and Yeld kept asking her to study the ultimate magic ' Maybe I should give these magic courses out , but I'm gonna have to ask for payment '
Dennis was excited for the future and walked out of the giftspace and onto the rooftop while looking at the transparent strings . She stirred space with State to twist all of the strings and pulled back the strings and the string previously connected to Filter was also pulled to the sky , leaving the clones who gathered around very confused as they saw the master string fly to the sky .
Dennis could sense a familiar presence emanating from the string connecting to the sky , even after the master string was spun into the spindle ' Saver get ready to save this eldritch curiosity '
And so when she severed the link by using State , the string faded away , leaving only the string connecting all the clones , while Saver stopped the curiosity and threw it into Savings to be surrounded by Arrows .
' Somehow it's not fading despite not being connected to a higher being anymore ' Dennis wondered if this had to do with the fact that the gift was a stray , but she wasn't even sure what the gift originally was " Now this is awkward , the gift isn't fading "
Dennis recalls Grant having some occurrences where a Granted gift continued to function despite being severed and theorised that the cause might be because the gift had several inputs to the new user .
' Or it could be like the mini Savers that Saver makes , although the fact that the clones had started to react to the disappearance of their master should've been a good enough sign that Filter's other gifts don't need connection '
Dennis thought that the original gift of Filter was the only one that needed a stable connection to a higher being ' let's not ask questions right now , gotta focus in handling this problem '
Dennis grabs the spindle and with all-seeing eye she taps into the source and sees not just several codes but also cards , magic and viscrafts and other unfamiliar things that she doesn't know about ' Hopefully Deks's skill points can compensate for my lack of knowledge '
She Loads time removing Slowpoke and understanding the information until Deks warned of an attack . Dennis clones herself , creating a male clone of herself to defend .
' My concentration is cut in half , but hopefully this is like playing Tetris while listening to classes ' Dennis consumes the information while in the other set of senses she saw clones arrive at the roof from the stairs , the sky and simple teleportation .
" Answer , where is the master ? " Dennis summons a color wheel behind him and a spear with a paintbrush at the other end . Dennis taps the wheel with the spearhead on the wheel caused a paint to fill with spells .
" Fight me for it " winged clones dove and Dennis swings the brush upward , forming a barrier . They diverge , avoiding the barriers and are hit with sloshes of paint and Saves them into Savings , leaving Saver to freeze them in place .
Meanwhile a mage clone watches Dennis trying to decipher the magic he was using " Trying to counterspell ? " the color wheel Merges with the spear's blade as it shone with all the colors .
" Too bad " the spear shrank to a wand and Dennis drew a magic circle with the spearhead . A yellow fireball formation was drawn and the Clone tried countering it , but the lightning still came out .
Dennis switched the ends and imagined a canvas in the sky and swirls the paint around , stirring the dark midnight clouds with thunder and causing it to crash down brutally paralyzing or setting ablaze the clones .
" Oh , that was too much " he quickly thinks of a solution and surrounds the female Dennis with a solid-State barrier while she focuses on understanding the strings .
" A canvas is white and it becomes blue once soaked in paint " he smiled at the marvelous idea he thought and let out the color wheel and zoomed into blue . The wheel faced him and it colors the world with blue air while State turns the blue air into water .
" Dennis has pseudo gifts that have transformed heavily in her hands , The blue is likely an effect of Hues and the liquid we are surrounded by is likely connected to her use of State at a massive scale "
They couldn't understand how she was able to reach this level of power when she recently got the gifts to cause them . But what made less sense was how Dennis was able to multitask between analyzing the strings that connect the clones and fighting them off .
A clone begins to cancel this strange bubble of water that renders some of them at a disadvantage . Dennis noticed a Winged clone holding their claws out and noticed that they were making bubbles out of it .
What came next gave them a much bigger surprise as they saw Dennis clone himself again as a female Naga clone of him swam through the water .
The clones chased after the Swimmer Dennis and Defender Dennis continued attacking , staining the water with colorful poison to keep the clones away from the observer .
Swimmer dives out of the water bubble , but the Clone dodged away . The Original found a warning and transmits it to the two others ' So they're avoiding us because of Save '
Dennis's clones start talking to each other like she would talk to herself for self-reflection ' We should avoid using Save or they'll make this more difficult than it should be '
Swimmer curls her tail to use State , creating a trident of solidified water that didn't feel cold while remaining connected to the bubble of water and flings it towards the winged clone reaching the sky and landing on a bubble made from the giant water bubble from some gift .
They expanded the stream connecting the trident and swam up ' There should be something ' Swimmer thought and Defender confirms an idea .
' Filter said there is a limit to how many gifts one person can have . How about we do that ? ' " I can see that you all have a lot of gifts ? How about I trade your master for some ? "
Original finds the strings being used to talk between each clone "Possible scenario Trading Master for gifts ?" "Probable causes greed for gifts" Original took the opportunity to sabotage the communication to ease negotiations .
' It's like skill editor , but much easier because this isn't close to a product of a higher being ' Dennis easily edits the strings lightly and Defender continues to spread the dyes on the water , obscuring the view of the more perceptive clones .

The clones were surprised by the blatant display of Dennis's trade " Are you implying you would trade Master for a few gifts ? " " Nope , until I'm satisfied , maybe ten gifts can work ? "
The string network suddenly shows their predictions while Original reads them "Overloading Gifts can destroy them" Dennis locates a thought of caution "Potential Gift like Grant detected" she answered it with "Not possible , confirmed that Gift of Dennis Debrah is a Dual-type gift , Save and Load"
"Possibility of having the ability to use more than twenty ?" "None , all gifts are pseudo-obtained from the original . Will fade due to not being the original and not in use"
Yeld was terrified and asked if they had a lifespan , but Saver confirms they don't sense any form of deterioration from them , backing their confirmation with experience of handling many types of erosion .

" Now unfreeze master " the clones said and once Dennis did , Strings reattached to Filter , giving him the gist of what had occurred " You tricked me ? " " And you were so easy too " Defender said , intending to buy as much time for Original to decode the objectifying trait in Strings .
" I mean , if you were someone who chased after some guy , you'd be more terrified about that world you came from . Although I guess I should also be terrified , but maybe because I talk to myself so often and am acting not my age , I am more resilient to the terrifying thought of industrializing life , It's kinda got a cyberpunk feel to it or maybe lifepunk ? "
Filter couldn't find the opportunity to talk against Defender at all " I mean , can you believe it ? Someone was so loose-mouthed that they mentioned "we" instead of "they" at one point and never noticed it "

Original found that the Strings were being disturbed and to keep them from moving , she gripped them really hard as Zilch returned all of their clone together , merging them all at once .
And their stats grew as more of the clones returned to them , Original found the strength of the Strings increase and pulls her away . Original quickly uses State to push the solid obsidian while the Strings pull her up and bring her close to Zilch .
Zilch was prepared to punch her , but she retreated into the giftspace before it landed . Dennis looks to the outside through Defender's eyes and transmits a thought " Buy me time "
Zilch pounces at Defender and he quickly uses his new gifts , spawning two Dots which connect into a line and then uses symmetry to form more lines . Zilch sensed the sharpness of Dot's lines while Fitler , who was commanding them , was surprised by that unique use for a gift he didn't bother looking into .
Zilch kicks the ground and grew wings to fly above from the uncertain power of Dots and Symmetry as the air grew cold and the magic power suddenly became abundant . But before Zilch could use it , Defender Mixed all of it into a Framed picture of magic and fired it .
They couldn't create a counterspell and simply attacked with a much more powerful spell , pushing through it . Filter couldn't help but feel like Dennis was looking down on him from her giftspace as she drinks some tea and Manifest a holographic Console , turning it into a more high-tech gaming console .
" Definition " her voice sounded and trains of thoughts ran as the spell that pushed through hers was Defined into a Sequence of words " What ? " " That's Definition the gift you said was useless "
The Sequence of words was stored in the spell slots and Dennis clicked on Sound as several options appeared from her memory . Filter hears an orchestra creating a theme song Sounding directly from Defender " Why are you using a useless gift ? "
Filter asked " Cause I'm showing you how good I am " a theme song Sounded throughout the island as it continues " Sounds have no use in battle "
" I honestly don't think so , I feel very excited hearing a theme song just for me " Sounds' Definition was stretched by both Definition and Arrows . Filter commands Zilch through a replicated Console and Zilch dives down .
And then they saw silhouettes of themselves and were confused by what it was " Animation Frames , the gift stretched out by Definition " Defender Sounded , taunting Filter .
" You are really being outdone by gifts you taught were trash " " It will stay useless " Filter controlled Zilch to follow with the path , ignoring Frames hindering their vision " not really " after the chuckle , they suddenly saw a silhouette move off course and they were moved too once they reached that Frame .
" That's Positions , you really thought all it does was change positions , like from sitting to standing , but you can use it on other things that normal spells wouldn't " Filter moved Zilch and shot a look of anger using Zilch .
" Oh , that looks pretty nice " Defender flirted while Filter grew flustered and suddenly recalled the information about Dennis . He leaves Zilch on auto battle and tries to pry out the skill cards affecting him and clouding his judgement .
Zilch continues their dives and the moment they saw the Frames of their future self , they teleported behind Defender and touched them using their gift ' Weapons '
Defender quickly Saves the cuts , backed away and sends cuts from Savings ' Removing Weapons from viable options ' Zilch avoids the cuts , sensing it was like normal cutting , but shouldn't be possible .
" We won't have any use for the cuts anymore if they use Weapons , let's just dump all of it " Defender immediately Loads the cut around and Zilch's body was sliced into millions of pieces while Dennis was surprised by how much she actually stored for it to cut through that deeply and slicing them to numerous pieces .
Zilch reconnects their pieces together and charges at Dennis , firing magic and equipping gifts . At a distance , Hazel uses a spyglass to see what is occurring while standing on a boat made by a Vehicle giftholder .
While they could've taken a fuel-powered boat , the fuel couldn't function due to the restriction placed on them and it was boarded with several people to row it as Shrub facilitates the break and work time .
" Someone is fighting there , I don't think it's someone we know " Hazel catches some glimpses of Defender and Zilch " I can't tell what species one of them is , but it seems to be a mix , but not from two parents , instead probably a lot , but it shouldn't be possible for that right ? "

He felt anger , but it felt much more natural than before and he took complete control of Zilch and they started warning him " Warning , Master is not clearheaded " Zilch's hollowed voice sounded " SHUT UP "
Defender felt Filter take full control and smirked as Dennis stored Defender and recalled all of her focus " Running away now huh ? That's right , the puppetmaster always handles the puppet better than the puppet " Filter yelled arrogantly while Dennis Loads out of Savings with a smirk on her face , Filter raises and enlarges Zilch's claws to rip her apart .
" Puppet ... That's right , I could use that instead ." Filter was felt a rejection from the giftspace as Dennis reached out and grasped a virtual crossbar attached to the puppet by Strings , while Filter was ejected from the giftspace with a single string connecting him and the crossbar .
" It's too bad I figured it out " Filter grew enraged and with the last seconds of possessing Strings , Commanded Zilch to hand everything to him . It was instantaneous due to Instant gift and he was suddenly filled with the familiar power that supplied all of Zilch's mana demand .
Zilch's body felt weakened before the string was severed to take away Filter's control . Dennis Saved them into Savings to check on them later on .
She held the gift Strings spun into a spindle , absorbing it , while Filter felt the immense mana flow into him as Dennis saw his mana pool expanding at an exponential rate literally .
" So this is the Limit , huh " Filter looks at Dennis saying " You're finished " he sensed the knowledge that filled him and activated Auto , chasing after Dennis .
Dennis ran as she used Dots , Strings and Symmetry to create a trampoline and jumped onto it and shot to the sky . Filter spreads out his wings from his body and flew to the sky as well . Following Dennis and saw her create more trampolines with the set of gifts as she loses speed .
She jumped higher and higher while Filter failed to notice that the Dots remained in the sky , surrounded by spheres of String . He flew higher and higher as Dennis jumped from trampoline to trampoline .
He finally closes in and passes the trampoline , reaching a hand that transforms into a massive bony claw and slams it down towards Dennis " Gotcha "
Dennis teleported above him as his massive claws were tangled by the Strings and a Force Arrow formed above her . Dennis struck Filter's massive claw with a tall and sharp tip of an imaginary Spindle ' It's just like Sleeping Beauty , but this guy won't just be sleeping ' the sphere of Strings unraveled with all of the objectifying traits that the Industry world had created imbued into it .
Dennis has had to make copies of this information with Deks while she Loaded time on herself to grow the objectifying programs more and improve them with all the disciplines related to it , such as the Viscrafts that attack the mind , the rule magic and even added a few mental spells from the other worlds while also making books about this trait and how to achieve it .
The Force Arrow fell onto them as the spindle spun the String into it while also binding the Strings into Filter . He tries to struggle but finds the effects through Review , seeing the brainwashing effect and quickly Orders himself to resist against Dennis before she claims ownership of his body with what she was doing .
" STOP IT " they fell as the fall unraveled the spheres and by the time they arrived , all Filter had was a body that would only listen to the command he placed .
He felt his body shake off the spindle but not the strings that ruled over their body . Dennis could hear his thoughts , desiring to reclaim control , putting the only faith in the single Command that he put on his body .
" Well , looks like it's time for the climax "
