The restaurant had already quieted down.

And the father of Trainee Ysabelle.

Both of them had clearly just finished dinner as well.

Zachary smiled faintly beside them.

“…HSBA Delta Training Camp Branch needs instructors.”

“…You already trained recruits in the military before.”

The phone kept vibrating continuously.

Ravielle slowly looked down.

Then froze completely.

Messages from unknown numbers yet somehow familiar to her.

Sapphire.

Skyrish.

Amethyst.

Bailey.

Raphael.

Nexcialine.

Sahm.

Patrick.

Blade.

Bryce.

Louie.

All at once.

Her eyes widened in disbelief.

Because despite changing her number—

They still remembered her.

Still cared enough to search for her.

Still messaged her.

Ravielle slowly opened the messages.

And immediately—

She almost cried again.

[Britney] Why did you change your number without informing us?

[Sapphire] We spent THREE YEARS messaging your old number.

[Louie] We kept hoping one day you’d finally reply... and now you suddenly have a new number?! We really thought something happened to you.

All flooding messages nonstop.

Ravielle covered her mouth.

“…They still remembered…”

Headmaster Gaius suddenly laughed warmly.

“…Go reply before your phone explodes.”

Ravielle immediately became embarrassed.

“…YOU SEE? SHE’S ALIVE.”

“…I almost cried earlier…”

Instructor Sapphire quietly closed her eyes briefly in relief.

Instructor Faye and the others exchanged glances.

Had completely disappeared from the Phantom Crest Squad members.

He suddenly asked casually.

“…Where are you staying tonight?”

Ravielle blinked.

“…I was planning to book a hotel…”

Immediately—

Headmaster Gaius frowned.

Ravielle looked startled.

Headmaster Gaius crossed his arms firmly.

“…It’s already late.”

“…And you’re alone.”

“…You are my junior brother’s granddaughter.”

“…I can’t allow you to wander around the city alone tonight.”

Ravielle immediately shook her head politely.

Headmaster Gaius interrupted gently but firmly.

“…Come stay at Gaius Mansion tonight.”

“…We’re heading there anyway.”

“…And I still need to prepare your instructor processing papers tonight.”

Ravielle looked stunned.

“…T-That’s really okay…?”

Headmaster Gaius chuckled warmly.

“…Ravielle.”

“…We both came from the Marine Corps.”

“…Different generations.”

“…But still comrades.”

His voice softened.

“…So allow this senior brother to help his junior sister adjust after discharge.”

That sentence—

Hit Ravielle deeply.

She slowly lowered her head.

Cool night air greeted them immediately.

Zachary respectfully opened the restaurant door first.

Then the three slowly walked toward the parked black vehicle nearby.

Zachary quickly opened the rear passenger door for Ravielle.

As Ravielle carefully entered—

Headmaster Gaius instinctively covered the top of her head gently so she wouldn’t bump into the car roof.

“…Careful.”

Ravielle blinked softly.

“…Thank you…”

After she settled properly—

Headmaster Gaius closed the door carefully.

Then Zachary escorted Headmaster Gaius toward the opposite side.

Covering the older man’s head as well before helping him inside safely.

Once both were seated—

Zachary closed the doors securely.

Then entered the driver’s seat.

The engine started quietly.

And slowly—

The vehicle drove off into the night.

Toward—

The Gaius Mansion.

Toward—

A new beginning.

And somewhere far away—

Inside the HSBA Delta Branch Hidden Masters Office—

Instructor Britney quietly stared at Ravielle’s newest message again.

Then—

Very softly—

She smiled.

“…Welcome back, Squad Leader…”
